Job Description.
- Develop,
implement, and continuously evaluate the promotional program's
performance.
- Direct
the creation and implementation of procedures, tools, measurements,
initiatives, infrastructure, and technology to support and enhance the
Marketing function's operations.
- Collaborate
with the marketing research and business development departments to create
a thorough long- and short-term promotional strategy.
- Create
and execute an integrated marketing communications and public relations
program that includes media advertising, PR campaigns, events, and other
aspects, and monitor their performance.
- Oversee
the translation of creative briefs into advertising campaigns, as well as
media placement and purchase, package art, and website content. Track
campaign performance and ensure campaigns correspond with product and
brand objectives.
- Facilitate
the development of giveaway materials by initiating bids, giving technical
requirements, and following up on distribution.
- Examine
the contents of the Company's website.
- Facilitate
marketing communication initiatives.
- Create
a process and enforce the usage of the Company's brand (logo, colors,
etc.) on all premises and promotional materials.
- Develop
and execute a digital marketing plan under the supervision of the
Corporate Deputy Marketing Manager.
- Prepare
a draft of the company's social media strategy and procedures that
maximize on publicity possibilities via social media channels and present
it to his or her immediate supervisor.
- Oversee
e-marketing efforts, which include creating, writing, and sending the
company's e-newsletters, as well as recommending other effective
e-commerce projects.
- Edit
the content of marketing communications and promotional messaging.
- Communicate
with other parts of the company about project-related activities that need
the rebuilding or deployment of new online content/functionality.
- Design
and execute a variety of online and offline communication roadmaps.
- Create
and distribute press releases, media relations materials, company
newsletters, social media content, and speaker ideas.
- Examine
the selected print and social media channels for focused marketing.
- Optimize
print, social media, and blog campaigns to increase engagement and brand
awareness
Education Requirements: MA in Marketing Management, MBA or BA in Marketing
Management or Business Management.
Work Experience: Candidates must have at least 6 (six) years of work
experience, with 3 (three) years in a managerial/supervisory role, or at least
eight (8) years of work experience, with 4 (four) years in a
managerial/supervisory position, if they hold a Masters or Bachelor degree.
- Knowledgeable
on how to use social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and
LinkedIn.
- Excellent
communication abilities.
- Solid
marketing expertise, with an emphasis on branding and public
communication.
- Graphic
design capabilities.
- Able
to maintain positive relationships with both internal and external
stakeholders.
- Takes
initiative, is adaptable, and eager to teach and learn from others.
- Strong
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency
in Amharic and English, both written and spoken, is essential.
